About the Guild
The Guild of St. Peter ad Vincula has been established as a focus for traditional Roman Catholics to pray and work actively for the restoration of the Church's papacy and hierarchy, and to counter the apostasy that has resulted from the Second Vatican Council.
We declare our complete submission to the Roman Pontiff, whose See is now so sadly vacant. We submit humbly to the will of God in this respect, ever mindful of the promise of His Divine Son that He will abide in His Church even until the end of time. We firmly believe all the truths of the Catholic Church as taught throughout its history, and are ready to die to preserve the integrity of this Faith. We take as our patron saint the first holy Pope and Bishop of Rome to whom Our Lord gave the keys of His kingdom. The See of Peter is now in chains, and we are anxious to answer the call of that same Angel who appeared to our glorious patron in prison, saying: "Arise up quickly. Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me."
Membership is open to all Catholics who would like to assist in this godly work. We ask that all our members recite daily the prayer (given below) for the restoration of the hierarchy. In addition we ask that our priest members offer a Votive Mass once a month for the Election of a Supreme Pontiff, and that they encourage novenas, litanies and other devotions in their chapels and Mass centers which have as their aim the restoration of the hierarchy. If you would like to become a member, please complete our membership application form.

Prayer for the
Restoration of the Hierarchy
To be recited daily by Members of the Guild
Let us pray.
Almighty and Everlasting God, / we beseech thee to restore unto
this world of sin /that faith which St. Peter thy first Pope and Prince
of the Apostles / did once humbly confess; / and commit once more,
/ through thine infinite mercy, / the government of thy Church / unto
a worthy Vicar of thy Son; / that he may be bestowed with such
increase of all virtues / as may be pleasing in thy sight; / and
that being so adorned,
/ he may lift from the Church and all nations / the heavy weight of
heresy that presseth down upon us; / and rendering Christendom
once more acceptable in thy sight, / may bring at length all
nations unto thee, / who art the Way, the Truth, and the Life: / Who livest and reignest with God the Father,
/ in the unity of the
Holy Ghost, / ever one God, / world without end.
/ Amen.
